A "wagasa" is a traditional umbrella made of oiled paper stretched over a bamboo frame. The ribs of a wagasa are on the outside of the paper.

Wagasa became widespread during the Edo Period and have continued down to today in their historical form, although modern designs for the paper are often used.

These two wagasa are not quite accurate as the ribs should number about 50, rather than the 30 in this model. Higher resolution, more correctly detailed wagasa can be located in the store as regular products (Look in the Tools, Utilities and Small Items catagory.)

"Futon" and "Makura" are for sleeping

The third item is a simple bowl of noodles, broth, foodbits, and a simple bamboo hashi . All are fully modelled.
