Water is an important element of the Japanese environment. Its use in formal gardens and other settings forms an key part of the Japanese aesthetic.
Here, we present a series of waterfalls. The objects on this page are typical of formal Japanese gardens, although they might also be part of the natural environment. Most come in packages of three waterfalls.
All the objects here are physically correct models of flowing water.
Waterfalls are necessarily complex objects, and they are extremely difficult to model. Some of these models have moderately large polygon and vertex counts. However, they all were modeled with an eye to keeping the polygon count as low as possible so that your scene can still include as many objects as you wish.
All the water objects on this page are designed for the fore and middle ground. That is, they have a high level of detail and they can be viewed in close-up.
