A collection of five scrolls by famous painters and woodblock makers depicting scenes of the Edo Period. The upper left scroll shows the Golden Pavilion in Fall rain. The lower left scroll has a gold leaf painting of carpenters at work. The center scroll is a silk painting of an Edo Period palace. The upper right scroll is a painting of women looking at construction of a bridge. The lower right scroll is one of Hiroshige's "Tokaido" series - a woodblock of fishermen and Mt. Fuji.
Although difficult to show here, each scroll is carefully made with unique and exacting wood, paper and knotwork or ribbon details. Each scroll can be used in close-up views.
Please note that the papers used for the scroll bodies, and the wood textures are copyrighted and cannot be used for purposes other than application to these models. The paintings are without copyright and may be freely used for other projects.
